We had a great experience with Jake. He was kind and patient, and catered to our son who was celebrating a birthday on the trip. We got to catch several different types of fish and really enjoyed the trip. Jake was great and helpful, set everything up for us and made it a great experience. Would recommend for an enjoyable family friendly trip!

Had a great time fishing with Captain Jake. We lost count how many reds we ended up catching. Jake is easy to talk to and definitely knows what he’s doing. If you’re looking to catch some fish I recommend booking with Second Chance.

It was a very nice boat ride. Captain Jake knows the sweet spots to catch fish, even though we got a few (water temperature not ideal for fishing - 2 pm) he tried his best to get us to catch a few. We had plenty of time to swim on the water and have a very good time.

This was the best fishing charter I’ve ever been on. Cpt. Jake was very friendly, professional, and super knowledgeable. Jake was amazing with my family. I couldn’t have asked for a better fishing trip. Thank you soooo much Cpt. Jake for the memories that my family will carry for the rest of our lives. God bless 😊

It was a great last day in Florida before we headed back to Indiana. We caught fish and went swim/snorkeling and saw lots more fish, hermit crabs and found a few shells. I highly recommend captain Jake with charter boat 2nd chances. If we make it back to the area we will definitely be looking him up.

Went fishing this morning and did very well! Simply put, look no further and book this charter, you won’t regret it. He will do what he needs to do to make sure you have a good time and successful. Great and patient for kids as well!

Captain Jake went above and beyond to make sure we had a successful fishing trip. Even though we experienced some bad weather and storms, the captain took us to places to ensure we were able to catch some great fish such as redfish, black drum, and mangrove snapper. It was also refreshing to have a boat captain that did not use foul language; and that had a positive attitude. Whether you are a family with young kids, or just looking for a fishing trip with some buddies, please choose 2nd Chance. You won’t regret it.

My siblings and I were searching for a private fishing. I’m local - they came from WI and MN. Jake responded quickly to our inquiries and we got trip planned! Before the trip Cap’n Jake was helpful in answering our questions and providing good details. We met on the dock and were on the water and moving within minutes. His knowledge of the area and the fish we were going to catch were great. Providing all the tackle and live shrimp to catch fish, we started casting right away. First fish on was a 32” red fish!!!!! Too big to keep, but really fun to catch!!! Jake would cast the lure and bait and hand the rods over to us and give us tips. It was a really fun trip and Jake was a great captain. We will definitely be using him again!!!!

The experience captain jake gave me and my fiancée was amazing! Making sure we got every experience possible!!!! We got on the fish after a little while and he made sure that we were able to come home with some meals!!! A++ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! this man is a god send and anyone coming to fort walton/destin area should join him!!!!
